SUMMER FIELD DAY AT HEFTY FARM
Friday, July 18
Please join us on Friday,
July 18 at 4 pm for our annual Field Day at the Hefty
Farm near Baltic,SD. Tours will start at 4 pm from the
Hefty SeedCompany office near Baltic. You’ll see
field trials in corn, soybeans, and wheat. We’ve
got lots
of new things we’re experimenting with again this
year including herbicides, insecticides, seed treatments,
fungicides, and equipment. Plus, if you want to, brief
tours of the Ag PhD TV Studios will be available.

Immediately
after the Field Day, Brian Hefty will be hosting a meal
and entertainment on his farm 1.5 miles east of
the Hefty Seed Company store near Baltic. He will have
inflatables for kids and a comedian with a “clean”
act for the adults. Additionally, Darren Hefty will
be leading some other tours that day in the area
that you can attend with him.

The Cornerstone Biodigester facility near Hull,
IA (turning manure into natural gas)
1:30 pm to 3 pm
