We’re planting the Blank Slate on Monday, and I’m excited for a number of reasons.
1. We are almost completely done with corn planting, which in and of itself is great.
2. I’m excited to get the ground I own planted.
3. I’m really curious to see how the fertility trials we’re doing on this piece of ground turn out.
I plan to take some pictures and even some video of what we’re doing and how we’re doing it on the Blank Slate. If everything goes well, you’ll begin to see some of them perhaps as soon as tomorrow night.
Now I just hope I can sleep tonight!

Good deal! I am in the same exact situation word for word. Uncanny isn't it, states away and doing the same things? My LL beans are up, will be really watching them. Right now I am glad I have those expensive seed treatments on the corn and beans. After the big rains and cool temps, they are getting a workout in my cool, notill soils. I was lucky though, my new farm called for a ton of high calcium lime, 200 lbs of P, 200 lbs of K, half pound of zinc, 20 lbs sulfur but no manganese. The farmer had foliar applied Mn on his RR soybeans. The boron test was one of the lowest I have ever seen so we put the boron to it. I did my share, now it is up to Mother Nature.
